Chris Jericho has blocked another trademark when he applied for the term “The Magician” at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
It was presented by Michael E. Dockins on behalf of Chris Irvine, Inc on May 5th. Here is the description of the presentation for entertainment purposes:
“Trademark for: THE WIZARD™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and a sports entertainment personality; entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews with a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
Two weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Jericho threw a ball of fire at Eddie Kingston’s face, causing him to be called The Wizard. Jericho defeated Santana in a grudge match last week. This week, the Jericho Appreciation Society will deliver a victory speech over Dynamite.
In recent months, Jericho has filed trademarks for the terms “Sports Artist” and “Influencer.”
