What about foreign players?
According to the recently announced rules, 3 out of 4 players currently playing in the IPL can use a combination of 3 out of 4 players, 1 Indian or 2 Indians and 2 foreigners. For the new team, it has been decided to draw 2 out of 3 Indian players and 1 foreign player.
The cost of both new equipment is at the house of Rs 12,000 crore
In the auction process of the new team in Dubai, both teams were bought into a house worth Rs 12,000 crore. Actors such as Ranveer Singh were also in the auction process along with large companies and teams such as Adani Group, Torrent and Manchester United. This time, the offers from Adani Group, Torrent and Manchester United reached Rs 5,000 crore. The Sanjeev Goenka Group has bought the Lucknow equipment for around 7,090 crore in the largest offering in IPL history, while CVC Capital has bought the Ahmedabad equipment for around 5,625 crore. Therefore, the price to pay for both teams is over 12 billion rupees.
