Tonight in the main event of AEW Dynamite, Interim ROH World Champion Mercedes Martinez took on the ROH Women’s World Champion.
The match was booked because Martínez became the interim champion at Supercard of Honor due to Purrazo being unable to appear at that pay-per-view.
Martínez won the match by forcing Purrazzo to touch the sleeping dragon.
